Texas Frightmare Weekend 2026

I'll start with the bad because we like to leae a good taste innpeoples mouth if we can. As you guys know if you have been that the crowds have always been huge and if you haven't then just know every uear we become more and more Sardined. The lines of cars when we arrived were backed up to thw highway just to park. We got there at noon and it was sold out of Parking in most places near there. Luckily i have been to this Convention Center before numerous times so i knew where parking was that was cheap and in this case this year....free. Downside is you have to walk a looooong way to get there but nothing you can't walk in 20 minutes or less. I personally don't mind walking as long as i am not covered in melty face paint or bad shoes and Reid_iculous_guy well he didn't complain and it was free...Yay. Anyways, once you got in check in to get our badges was simple and quick with the qt codes and everything. The lines to the Elevators and escalators were so long and kept stopping that we missed the Scream panel because we literally were at the escalators for 30 minutes and then the line was so long it was basically too packed to get in. So instead we walked around downstairs in the Exhibit hall for a while until 2:20 ish. The Exhibit hall was so packed we couldn't breath or move and ended up having to escape for a bit. We then headed up to the panel rooms in the Grand Ballroom for the Welcome to Derry Panel. That was a blast and the kids are adorable and sweet. The entire panel was a blast so we enjoyed that very much. We then left and walked around for a minute until about 4 when we thought thwy were lining up for the Saw panel....it wasn't . The person who worked there seemed overwhelmed and lost poor girl. She told us yes it was for saw and then they started letting people in and we were like ...wait huh? It was a total different panel but luckily we liked the panel. It was the stars of Silent Night Deadly Night. That was a fun panel. We went and told them about what happened and they said just stay when the panel is over and we can just have those seats for the next panel. So that was cool we were pretty close so we were ok with that. The saw panel was excellent and Tobin Bell is so insightful you guys it is like reading a motivational book or something. He is such a great guy and the other cast and the writer of the first 3 Leigh Whannell is so funny and kind. They then told us if we were staying for the next panel we can just stay seated but we went downstairs to see the exhibit hall again which was more cleared out and we were able to actually look around. Same stuff we see at all horror conventions but we love it none the less!! Then we headed up for our last thing for the day which was the Movie Premiere for Models vs. Werewolves by Full Moon Features. They did one of our favorite series Puppet Master. That adventure getting up there was again terrible but we were able to get in by the last 15 minutes of the last panel and stayed in the front row for the movie. The movie was actually hilarious and fun to watch. So much camp but thats for another post later lol. After that we were hungry and done. Headed out to the long walk to our car. Took alot of video coming soon. So our over all thought is....its too big for that small of a space and it makes it almost impossible to get where you want to go. Other than that everything was so much fun and we can't wait for next year only this time.... we may go on a sunday for less crowds lol. Fun 6/10 crowds really were a buzzkill Guests 10/10 parking 4/10 afternoon organization 5/10 lines and everuthing were chaos accept will call and photo op virtual lines. Vendors 7/10 same vendors as everywhere else but we still like it lol Staff 8/10 they were all so kind and helpful although some seemed like they didn't know anything Overall 6.5/10 Crowds were just such a buzzkill not enough space and a bit disorganized.

Texas Haunters Convention

 

Hey Guys we are back back back again!! We did Media for Texas Haunters Convention 2025 again and boy it was upgraded. From the venue to the merch, and to the food even. So Letrs Talk about it shall we?

We had a blast here this year. We always do but i will say this year they stepped it up and got a bigger and better venue. There are some downsides of course. You have to pay for parking here but it isnt confusing at all and there is a trick you can pay to park at the Toyota music factory resturant strip by different hours and if you eat or drink at their resturants you can get your parking validated. I parked there Sunday for 5 dollars since i was not able to stay longer than 4 hours. The venue itsself was pretty nice. It was the Irving Convention Center. I see alot of conventions fail there but this one i dont think will. It looked great and had plenty of space for everyone. Great areas to take photos throughout the place and wasnt dead hot. 

The merch was even upgraded. We had some of your regular vendors and haunts but some new ones and boy did i strike gold with a bunch of them 

 

They had the ghostbusters there lol i loved them they were so amazing and of course they had their mascot walking around as well. They really ampt up there performance and also brought some amazing workshops and panels and....scareoke to the floor. It was very interesting and fun to watch. The workshops were awesome had some friends that went to a bunch of different ones and they were thrilled by them. 

We have a whole video up on our youtube and making a few to post to our tik tok and we encourage you to watch them and everyone elses so you can get a feel for the convention. It is fun, nice venue, great vendors, cosplay contests, workshops, costume balls, and performances after hours. All of which were fun and i can not wait to go again next year. We are going to amp up for it next year and shoot everything with our cameras, phones, and blog and vlog next year so you can get a better walkthrough going along with us. Texas Haunters Convention

SO we went to Texas Haunters Convention as press. The response time when we messaged them about collabing together was quite fast. They were quite accommodating and we had no issues with communication. So that was a brownie point to start out with. We had never been to the convention before so it was definitely something we were looking forward to and I must say...it was pretty worth it. Unlike most other horror conventions I have gone to this was quite unique and made for Haunters. First of all a haunter is a group of people who build haunted houses and or haunted attraction, or collectors of haunted house memorabilia,  or has a passion / love for dressing up and scary the pants off of people. THIS PLACE , if you are any or all of them, is the place for you. 

  The parking was a bit of a mess ( which they have been apologizing and we much appreciate  them caring ) a tad confusing because of the rodeo going on in the same parking lot. However we digress, going inside it was spooky and welcoming. Props, animatronics, blown up spooky inflatables, and haunted house decorations everywhere. 

They did have signs for everything that was going on and lots of signs for their sponsors and content. On one side of the convention there were quite a few food vendors/trucks outside. They were super expensive though. I did love the tea and soda stand Pecos Pete's. So there were food and drinks there but not as pocket friendly as I would have liked but that's just my opinion. 

Once you go up to the kiosks you print out your badge bracelet thing. It was a smooth process and kinda convenient. You walk into the middle room. There are 3 rooms in the convention and they are full of haunters ultimate props and sfx. Haunters, spooky stuff, horror everything was out and about. Anyways,the middle room is basically their artist Ally, so many amazing vendors. We talked to as many as we could and interviewed a few as well. We bought some stuff....alot of stuff lol.

Then to your left is the main stage where panels and scareoke were being held. Not to mention cosplay contests. Also in that room was a cool photographer/sfx editor and a no touch gaming area. That was cool and not to mention phone charging stations!!

Then go back through the middle room to the room on the right where all the haunted houses, vendors, animatronics, goodies for sale were. They had people dressed up in character from different haunted houses and places going around scaring people and taking you to their booths. It was such a fun experience. HQ ( me who is typing)  almost even got into an electric chair and got " electrocuted " lol. Everyone, all the vendors, actors, and enthusiasts were all having a good time and enjoying each other's like minded spirits and minds. 

They even had a painting/art live in the back of the middle room. It was quite bigger than prior years and they made good use of the space. The staff were all kind and informative except one security guard..he wasn't mean but he was super cocky/abrasive slightly but not enough to say he was rude.

To rate it would be hard because it's unique. So I will just say this...it has the pandamonium seal of approval on it lmao. Seriously you should check this convention out if you are Into that stuff!!
