Let's talk a little bit about the plot ... Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. ... This one had Ryan Coogler as the director who was the director of "Black Panther" and "Creed". Starring Michael B. Jordan. It was set back in 1932 in Clarksville, Mississippi. Michael B. Jordan plays two different people in the movie that just happens to be twins as well.
This movie was more than your normal good vs evil. Although it really is a story of good versus evil and triumph over evil. It is more it is also humanity versus paranormal versus humanity.
In this movie you watch it touch base on the trials of that time era alongside the evils that walk the earth who are well dead but alive.
It's got everything that makes a great movie. It was brilliant, cinematically beautiful, and the story was well written. The acting was top notch, the emotions were high and you felt that. Let's not forget the blues ...this movie has an amazing soundtrack including lots of the blues throughout. Music can heal, it can entice, and entrance you. Music in itself is power and in this movie you find that out as well.
I honestly think it is in my top 5 of this year and for the last few years. This one we highly recommend seeing ASAP.
