The Terrifier 3 review

We went and saw the Terrifier 3 and let me just say ...holy shnikeys we were happy. I mean if you are into Gory goodness, slasher heaven, funny dark comedy, and intense fight scenes.....not to mention Shock Value, sharp objects objectifying a certain someone lol, awesome bad special fx , and an actual pretty good growing stor.... you will fn love this.

I can't tell you how much i enjoyed this movie. I know i know its alot to watch but i enjoy every inch of it and the story is so good. I enjoy the character developement. It goes fromthe first one where Art was Human then we see at the end he is killed and reborn as a demon and then at the end of 2 we know its not over. In 3 art is not alone he has Vicky. Sienna and Jonathan are back of course and this time we get more of the rest of her family. Her aunt and uncle and neice. This one is interesting and I love how they are going about developing the story. It is a slow burn that slaps you in the face and I am HERE FOR IT!!!

We find more and more and more about Art and Why he is the way he is and doesn't talk. Why Vicky is there, and why he doesn't kill her. We find out why he want to "kill" Sienna so bad and we see of course a demon spreading his ART everywhere.

Everyone said that the Shower Scene is the most brutal thing they have seen from him yet but they failed to remember the bedroom scene in 2 , the upside down crotch kill in 1, and the rats in 3. and i can think of a few more that seemed more Brutal. Also do notice the change in his face from 1 to 2 to 3. Its pretty cool how it has transformed.

I have theories for what is going to happen next but we will get to that in a later post. Anyways i do suggest going to see if you are into the things i said previously.

BeetleJuice Beetlejuice Review

 IT'S SHOWTIME !!!!!!!

Ok well how do i begin the amazing movie review? OOOOOPS    spoiler alert   it is amazing. It is hard to say otherwise. I was born in 1987 so i was very little when the first one came out so needless to say i grew up with The beetlejuice movie and cartoon and I have always loved it. I never thought they would do a second although i must admitt i always wanted another one because well i love the first one, i love Tim Burton, and of course Michael and the rest of the cast honestly...except the dad ....he kinda creeped me out to be honest. So going into this new one i was already driven with excitement. I am not the biggest fan of Jenna Ortega but my daughter loves her in Wednesday so well i ignored that fact. Personal opinion moving on lol. Anywho,  the thought of everyone being grown up and her having a daughter makes so much sense timeline wise. I love that they kept up with that. There was always a perfect excuse as to why certain characters were not in this one. The plot around the dad was brilliant and so funny...also i wasnt creeped out seeing him in the new form lmao.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a 2024 American dark fantasy comedy horror film directed by Tim Burton from a screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. A sequel to Beetlejuice (1988) and the second film of the Beetlejuice franchise, the film stars Michael KeatonWinona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara reprising their roles alongside new cast members Justin TherouxMonica BellucciJenna Ortega, and Willem Dafoe. Set more than three decades after the first Beetlejuice, it follows Lydia Deetz, now a mother, struggling to keep her family together in the wake of a loss as the specter Betelgeuse[a] returns to haunt her.

( taken from Wiki )

Just in case you dint know that already I thought i would throw that in there.

ANYWAYS, So i dont want to spoil the movie and give away things that happen so i will tell you the way it made me feel and as much explination that i can.

This movie hit a huge nostalgia button for me. First off seeing the family back together with a few new additions made me feel nostalgic and hearing the theme song in a total new movie was nostalgic. NOTHING hit me harder than seeing Cathrine O'Hara back as Delia!! The movie was not only nostalgic but it had a modern flare to it that was nicely intergrated into it. It was a nice smooth transition in the film you almost didn't notice the change. Then the time comes when you see the house and it still so perfect just like back in the day.

Can we talk about seeing the Ghost with the Most?  When i saw him i noticed a few changes and again this has been years later and he may be dead but he still ages...decays?...lol but anyways , like he did look a bit older but still youthful, his voice was a bit different almost as if he has grown tired of everything which was so perfect, and his humor was a bit different than before but it seemed so appropriate for the era it is made in. I think the changes that occured made sense in every way. My favorite part in the whole movie is when Beetlejuice goes " I this a figment of your imagination " . The look, sound, and mannerisms in this whole clip was so fittingly perfect i literally quote it all the time. Not to mention....Later fu****... classic lmao.

The side villain ...Beetlejuice's wife " Delores "  was a nice addition or should i say distraction . I love her and until well lets just say until she met a certain shrunken head man. I now swaer revenge on this Delores * shakes fist angrily* .

Fun stuff happens and oh yea there is Astrid....who...was there....getting into trouble..sound familiar? She meets a real...nice? boy. Thats all I will say about that.

Sadly Cathrine O'hara finds out about her husband and The juice was loose and now well...go watch it for yourself!!!

All in all it was a great movie, fun with family ( for the most part ) , and not at all a let down especially for those who grew up with the first movie.

Immaculate review

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog. Today we talk about Immaculate!! I was super excited to go see this movie. It really seemed interesting despite the fact that these types of movies have been done over and over again however that is most movies now adays anyways. So lets just jump right in with the plot and then final thoughts shall we.

Starts out with Sister Mary sneaking into a superior's bedroom at night and steals a ring of keys to escape through the locked gates of the Roman Catholic convent. She is captured and knocked unconscious by four hooded figures. She later wakes up in a coffin and is buried alive.

Young Sister Cecilia turned Christian at an early age after she nearly drowned in a frozen lake and was declared dead for seven minutes, convinced that God had saved her for a purpose. She gets an invitation from Father Sal Tedeschi to join a convent in Italy that tends to dying nuns in their last days. Cecilia takes her final vows to adhere to the evangelical counsels and becomes a nun, being decorated with a rosary

She befriends Sister Gwen and starts noticing odd things, such as an elder nun having scars on her feet in the shape of crosses and people were not as they seem. The convent's chapel houses what they claim is a Holy Nail ( the ones that supposedly went through Christs hands and feet)  relic that was taken from the cross on which Jesus was crucified . They call Cecilia in as she had been sick lately and they test her. Cecilia is shocked to learn that she is pregnant even though she is a virgin and has never had relations with a man. The convent's inhabitants begin to treat her as the next Virgin Mary worshipping her and the unborn, with many proclaiming the child is a blessing and miracle.

Another nun, Sister Isabelle, tries to drown Cecilia out of jealousy, saying that it "should have been her" one day while they were taking their baths. They save her and she gets sick again and ends up throwing up one of her own teeth and her health worsens. Her request to be taken to a proper hospital is denied by Father Tedeschi. Isabelle dies after jumping off the convent's roof as Cecilia is walking through the cloister. Gwen publicly chastises the convent superiors for turning a blind eye but is then taken away by Father Tedeschi and Deacon Enzo.

At night, Cecilia notices that behind a painting of the Virgin Mary in her room, another nun had inscribed 2 Corinthians 11:14 on the wall, a hidden warning causing her to realize that something is wrong about this convent. Cecilia breaks open a drawer to read her file and is shocked to find information on the accident in her childhood. Hearing a woman screaming, she ventures further and is horrified to witness a hooded figure cutting out Gwen's tongue. An elder nun appears and silences Cecilia. She begs to escape, but the elder shakes her head and tells her that she will never leave the convent.

She tries to escape the convent by faking a miscarriage using a dead chicken, but a nun cleaning Cecilia's room after blood was everywhere from the " miscarriage" finds the chicken under her bed. She attempts to run before being forcibly brought back by Tedeschi and Enzo. Tedeschi explains that he was a geneticist before becoming a priest and used DNA samples taken from the Holy Nail  to impregnate nuns in the hopes of ushering in a new messiah. Until his success with Cecilia, Tedeschi's numerous attempts failed, often resulting in malformed fetuses. Tedeschi brands a cross into Cecilia's foot, a symbol also on many of the other nuns.

Cecilia makes another attempt to escape. She beats Mother Superior to death using a crucifix, and shortly afterward, her water breaks. She manages to strangle the cardinal with her rosary before dousing Tedeschi's lab in ethanol. Tedeschi arrives and tries to stop her through physical force, but Cecilia narrowly escapes by igniting the ethanol with a lighter.

Tedeschi manages to break out of the laboratory after extinguishing the flames and continues his pursuit against Cecilia, forcing her to flee into the catacombs under the convent. They spoke about how she is not allowed down there when she first arrived. Cecilia finds Gwen's mutilated corpse along with a hole in the catacombs walls. Tedeschi finds her just as she is about to escape and a struggle ensues. Tedeschi tries to cut Cecilia's stomach open, but she stabs him in the throat with the Holy Nail , which she had previously stolen from the chapel. After exiting the catacombs, Cecilia agonizingly gives birth and bites through the umbilical cord herself. She is clearly horrified by the sight of the "baby", which is heard making animalistic noises. Cecilia stumbles away to grab and lift a nearby rock, which she uses to crush it to death. Finding this baby to be an abomination and obviously not human.

OK SO HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS

This is what the first Omen should have been. though it was still not the best it was way better and it was actually interesting. I actually enjoyed watching this movie very much.

Scary/ horror factor: 7/10 for not just a bit of eeriness but also it had an actually horror story vibe to it and not just some shock value jump scare with no actual direction.

Creepy: i give it 6/10 because it did actually have ominous and eerie feeling to it a lot of the time.

Plot: 7/10 the plot was good a bit predictable of course but it was interesting enough that i actually was enjoying seeing what was coming next. It had felt a bit rushed nearing the end though and that is why i bumped it down to a 7

Acting" 9/10 the acting was great and everyone did such a good believable job.

Overall: 8/10 this was interesting and a bit spooky. It had disturbing imagery but not so disturbing it turned into pure shock value. It was all in all a good movie!!

The First Omen Review

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. Here is another review for you!! This one i was enjoying at first but then let me explain what i mean by at first. So when i went to see it i was expecting to see an eerie , scary, and sinister feeling movie. A movie you truly believed birthed evil. WHY because the first Omen with little Damien made you feel that way. Even more so because the kid playing him was so good at being innocently creepy. ANYWAYS, that is not what i got. So i am gunna get right into it honestly.

Plot (Spoiler Alert please dont read this section if you have not seen it yet)

I am just going to do the short version because there are other things i kinda want to discuss about the movie a bit more than the plot.

Here is the short version. Cut to a man names Father Brennan who has been studying this convent goes to the church and meets with a man named Father Harris and asks him about an occult conspiracy; the shaken Harris gives Brennan a photograph of a baby with the name "Scianna" inscribed. Harris is killed when a falling pipe splits his head open. ( Scene Cut to)

1971 Rome , amid left-wing protests , America novitiate Margaret Daino arrives at the Vizzardeli Orphanage. Quite young and known to be a bit of a trouble maker back in the states. Only she wasn't really a trouble maker but the things she was saying and doing were justified and real. She meets with Cardinal Lawrence, Father Gabriel, and Abess Sister Silva, her roommate and fellow novitiate Luz, and nun Anjelica. Luz invites Margaret to a disco saying this is your last chance before they have to take their vows and everything. Margaret dances with a man named Paolo before blacking out after a few drinks and letting herself loose a bit in which she awakens the next day with no memory of what happened.

Margaret then is shown around and meets the elder nuns they have been taking care of and is told everything they do there , taking care of the elderly and sick, and wanders off a bit and meets a 13 old orphan named Carlita. She draws closer to this one child at the orphanage who is being misunderstood and mistreated by the other nuns there. This treatment reminder herself of what had happened to her as a child in her covenant/orphanage she stayed in. They also did those things to her as well. They are all outside one day when one of the nuns is talking to Carlita.  Margaret spots Carlita showing Anjelica a drawing of a pregnant woman being restrained; moments later Anjelica self-immolates and  tells Carlita " this is all for you" and hangs herself.

Obviously concerned she meets Father Brennan who tells her about Brennan explains that radicals within the church, desperate to regain power against the rise of secularism, seek to bring about the Antichrist to create fear and drive people back to the church, with Carlita intended to be his mother. Of course this frightens her and she does not believe him or more so does not want to. However it didn't seem so farfetched. She intended to protect Carlita at all costs. They end up taking a field trip and on their way out with the children a riot breaks out and Margaret gets caught up in the midst of it. She then started having hallucinations. Because of this Sister Silva decides to postpone her vows until she is better and orders her to distance herself from Carlita.

On her way home she spots Poalo who looks terrified and he speaks to her saying he is so sorry , he didnt know, and then he says look for the Mark. Right after is hit by a truck and smashed against the wall. Margaret tries to help him but he is split in half. She then goes back to the convent and starts to do some research. Margaret sneaks into Sister Silva's office. She uncovers a hidden, underground chamber and a series of subject files, all labeled "Scianna". Each file contains a photo of a disfigured baby with a birthmark in the shape of three 6's , with Carlita as seemingly the only survivor. She is intercepted and spots the mark on Carlita's palate before being imprisoned.

Father Gabriel frees Margaret after finding the files she hid ; as they examine the files, they discover that another baby had survived. Margaret freaks out crying as she locates the mark on her own scalp and suddenly remembers that she was forcefully impregnated in a satanic ritual the night she blacked out at the disco. The Devil will need to mate with his own spawn in order to conceive the Antichrist, and Margaret had been brought to Rome as Carlita is too young. The group drives off to have the pregnancy aborted, but another car crashes into theirs on the way. ( This next scene is something i need to talk about but later ) Margaret gets out of the car and starts basically reenacting getting pregnant by the beast and then falls to the ground in the middle of the street and her womb fills as she then starts having contractions. she passes out and awakens strapped to a hospital bed .

She us then greeted by Cardinal Lawrence, the head of the conspiracy. She gives birth to two children, a girl and a boy; the boy of course is hailed as the Antichrist. She stabs Lawrence but cannot bring herself to kill her son. Luz stabs Margaret as the conspirators flee with the boy and set the chamber ablaze to cover their tracks. Carlita saves Margaret and her daughter and Margaret sees her assaulter, a demonic jackal, yes a jackal,  in the flames. The baby boy is given to American diplomat Robert Thorn to secretly replace the child his wife Katherine has supposedly miscarried. ( aka Damien from the original Omen ) Carlita, Margaret, and the little baby girl survive and move away. Trying to stay hidden from the world and the covenant that if found would kill them.

One day they are eating and smiling and laughing and a priest comes to see them telling Margaret that they know and are coming for them and that Damien has started to show signs already basically and the evil has begun. She basically says i am ready for the , i don't care and o leave them alone.

So i will get to the ratings real quick

Scary 5/10 i found nothing about this scary at all...not eerie...nothing...just shock value

Creepy 3/10 not creepy , no evil vibes, did not give any creep factor

Plot PPPPPPPPRRRREEEEEDDDDDIIIIICCCCTTTAAABBBLLEEE 2/10

Acting 7/10 they were great actors and actresses

Overall 5/10 Just unoriginal, predictable, and over used

Here is the deal. Every single antichrist origins movie is the same and this was no different. It was so predictable all the way down to it being her who was impregnated. I already knew they were not going to grape a 13 years and get her pregnant to give birth to the antichrist and i already knew that the son was going to be Damien from the first Omen. This was so badly thought out and i am so sad it didn't give me any eerie or creepy vibes. When i watched the Omen everything just seemed so eerie and had this gut wrenching feeling the whole time. Damien was so innocent and yet those eyes told stories of pure evil just waiting to come out. This movie was just all shock Value. It had nothing that made me even curious.

THE WORST SCENE EVER in that movie was the scene where she is in the middle of the street after being hit by the other car and finding out she was the one who was impregnated by the Devil. She starts to move around spastically and grunting ... she actually moans as if she were in pleasure and starts basically acting like something is having very rough sex with her and at one point she bends over as if she is getting it doggy style. Nothing about it seems painful or looks like she doesn't want it and then she drops to the floor and opens her mouth as what looks like a crap ton of semen is filling up and flowing out of her mouth as well as her downstairs pouring out. This entire scene goes on for so long you just feel uncomfortable watching it especially with people around and just seems so vulgar and unnecessary.

One more point on this scene...it was a stolen scene. You can see almost the same exact scene in a 1981 film called Possession. This woman in the movie literally does this exact scene but in a subway. Only hers was called a miscarriage and this one in the Omen was her reenacting her getting pregnant. However the semen and blood were a bit more dramatic in the 1981 film and also poured from every single orifice in her body. Both were uncomfortable to watch and overdramatic and neither seemed angry about the hard **cking the were reenacting. Just bothers me how unoriginal this movie was.

Imaginary

Hey guys Back with another review for you. I am happy to say i had the pleasure of watching Imaginary at the Drive in and omg it was fun. If you have a chance to got to the Drive in Movies you really should. Anyways, Enough about that we are here for the movie.

First scene we step into a giant creature , what looks like a spider, and a women arguing and then chasing her down the hall. Right when shit was about to hit the fan she wakes up. Just a dream!! So then it cuts to her waking up next to her husband and they discuss the dream apparently she has them alot. They then talk about going ahead and moving into what turns out to be the women named Jessica ( DeWanda Wise ) fathers house they inherited since her father had to move into a senior living home. He has lost his mind, seems like dementia, So , the husband named Max ( Tom Payne ) says lets go ahead and move the girls Alice ( Pyper Braun ) and Taylor ( Teagan Burns ) to the new house now.

Cut to it  shows a few cute videos of old home videos of a mother and father and their little girl. And then the Credits play during this. Then back to them moving into the house. Jessica is the step mom of  Max's Children and she wants so desperately to show them love and fun since their mother has severe mental issues and abused them. Especially the younger daughter Alice.

Jessica is an artist and write children's books and it seems she write them about the spider in her dreams and another named Mollie the Millipede. The little girl is afraid of the spider and says he is scary looking. Outside they are greeted by the next door neighbor who we find out used to babysit Jessica before Jessica was sent away to her grandmothers after her mother passed away from cancer. The next door neighbor Gloria ( Betty Buckley )tells her some stories about her childhood which Jessica cant  remember but then again she says her childhood is such a blur.  lets them go inside after saying how sorry she was for the way everything happened when Jessica was smaller.  Later that day everyone chooses their rooms in the house and you find out Taylor the oldest daughter does not like Jessica and gives her hell. The little one hears a voice and starts to follow it into the basement and moves a shelf finding a bear named Chancey. Chancey and Alice begin to get close and one day Jessica goes to record how cute she is with her new imaginary friend and the girls real mother comes out and attacks her. Turns out the oldest girl told her where they live and the police come to take her away.

After a few days the father has to go on tour i am guessing he is a musician they don't really talk about that much. She is left alone with the girls. Before he leaves it shows how bonded Chancey and Alice become. Her new imaginary friend has a lot of things they talk about and in Jessica's bedroom bathroom they can hear her speaking to Chancey and Chancey speaking back. He then leaves and Jessica says she hopes this time together will bring them closer together. This is where things start getting weird.

The little girl starts doing a scavenger hunt with the new friend and collecting items which Jessica sees as harmless at first. She helps her out and continues on. Taylor had met the boy next door who seems to be a troublemaker.  Later that day Jessica asks Taylor to watch her sister while she runs out for a bit. During this run she goes and sees her father Ben ( Samuel Salary ) and he is basically unresponsive for a while. She then reads him a book and he thinks she is an orderly there. Cut to back at the house Alice is doing her scavenger hunt and Taylor invites the boy next door over. He then asks her if she wants some pills and she refuses ( good girl) but they decide to watch a movie and he gets the bright idea to drink her fathers liquor and in turn breaks a bottle. They scurry around and try to clean it up. Back to Jessica who's with Ben as he speaks to her clearly and sees that its Jessica and he repeats they didnt believe me all you ever talked about was CB CB CB!!! She then leaves and heads home. Meanwhile Chancey plays a mean trick on the boy next door which ends up terrifying him.

Back at home The little girl is outside looking for a piece of wood with a nail on it. Jessica returns home finds the boy and calls the neighbor boys mother over and he leaves getting in trouble. She then tells Taylor no boys allowed and heads to Alices room where she sees a lump and thinks its Alice sleeping. So she starts to speak to her sweetly but then notices its not Alice and in fact it was the bear under the covers aka Chancey. She then looks outside and runs to Alice stopping Alice right before she impales her hand with a rusty nail. This causing the nail to graze her hand. Jessica then calls her husband and tells him. She then calls the child's therapist. Dr. Soto ( Veronica Falcon ). She comes over and speaks with Alice in which Alice starts telling Chaney that he made her feel unsafe and that she thinks if he is going to hurt her or anyone around then she doesn't think they should be friends anymore. For a few minutes the therapist thinks that its Alice speaking as Chancey but turns out Alice turns her head as she is crying Chancey is still speaking. She shows Jessica and Jessica freaks out. The doctor mentions the never ever which sparks Jessica's memory about a box in the basement that was her where she had drawings. One in particular was a door and it says never ever on it.

Jessica runs downstairs and sees the box and runs back upstairs where she finds out that the bear she had been seeing has ever been there. She is the only one who can see the ear besides Alice. She then ,after the doctor said something, realizes that CB was Chancey the Bear who was her imaginary friend when she was a child. Alice then after the session very torn up about it goes to lay down but doesn't stay down, She gets woken up by Chancey to come and find him and stay with him in the Never Ever Land. She then heads downstairs and takes everything that the list said and turns out that is the key to the door. She disappears and jessica and Taylor have a falling out. Jessica tries to tell Taylor what is going on but she wont listen and Taylor runs to find her sister as Jessica also tries to figure it out. Gloria the neighbor comes out finds Taylor and tells her that Jessica is right and shows her proof. They then go back and find Jessica.

She tells Jessica she believes her and the neighbor explains everything. Jessica earlier had taken a picture of the scavenger hunt list which as a child she had written the same list on her wall. She then finds out that Jessica had been to the Never Ever before and that is why she doesn't remember her childhood.  They then perform the ritual and all 3 of them wind up going through the door to the Never Ever to find and bring Alice home. They make sure to put something down so the door wont close all the way...which doesn't work because the neighbor lady Gloria is a psycho and traps them in there. She says the entity had told her to do it and she was going to get taken care of there...turns out boy was she wrong because one of the imaginary friends eats her behind a closed door it sucks her into. They walk through and we find out that when she had went to the never ever her father went into rescue her and that is why he lost his mind. He saved her and starred into the eyes of Chancey and it drove him insane since his mind was already weekend from losing his wife.

They go through these doors , get split up and have to find each other again. As they do they find the room seeing a puppy they knew was from Alices imagination and they find Alice. Alice is in a cute princess dress and hanging out with her real mother , not its actually Chancey making her think its her mother, having a tea party Jessica shows her the truth then starts to make a new door. she figures it might work since her imagination is strong they can create one. It works and the girls go through but Jessica does not. She then falls through into Taylors arms. Cut to the next scene it shows the entire family back at the senior home visiting her father who is doing a lot better. Things seem to be going great but then she sees that Alice's arm doesn't have a scar on it that was previously there. She realizes that she is still stuck in the never ever and that Alice was just bait to get her back in there to be with Chancey for ever and ever. However right when Chancey was about to make her stay forever Taylor hit the entity and helps Jessica actually escape the never ever. As they are exiting Chancey opens the door and stares into Jessica's eyes and tries to destroy her like he did Ben and Alice sets him on fire with matches she found.

Jessica then flees with the children and lets the house burn down. After that the kids and Jessica go to a hotel and see a boy there with a bear just like Chancey talking to it and they decide to leave.

This is the end. I know I left a lot of things out but you just need to see it. I don't want to spoil everything but that is the whole jist of it all.Now lets get to some info and ratings.

The Film is PG-13

Directed by Jedd Wadlow

Written by Jeff Wadlow, Greg Erb, and Jason Oremland

Production Companies Blumhouse Productions , Lionsgate Films, and Tower of Babble Entertainment

Ratings

Creep factor 6/10 it was definitely creepier than it was scary. Had more jump scares and suspenseful moments

Horror 5/10 it was not scary to me at all but to someone younger or who doesn't watch scary movies religiously it might be scary

Plot 7/10 I will tell you that i honestly think it was a good plot. It was totally predictable for me but i enjoyed watching it. I thought it was basic but cute. Definitely appropriate for a pg-13 rating

Acting 8/10 I enjoyed all the actors in it they didnt over act but also they were believable. I think the one i didnt like ver much was Gloria i feel she actually was slightly over acting.however still not bad.

Overall I would say 7/10 it was enjoyable and a good one to watch for scary movie night with the family ( i wouldn't suggest anyone under that age of 10 to watch it unless they are a bit more mature in their heads). It is a good filler movie to watch at least once.

Late Night with the Devil

Hey there we are back with another Movie review. We went to see Late Night with the Devil and i must say it was to say the least interesting. As you know I am  huge fan of Horror movies and all things of that nature. I was very excited to see that one of my favorite horror Authors had said it was great and he couldn't look away ( Stephen King not a direct quote but basically what he said). If he liked it it must be amazing with a horrible ending ( baduuuncha.... if y9ou know you know) jk jk but seriously. Anyways so got to the theater , got my snacks because well Snacks, then went to sit down. Our seats were broken so they gave us new seats and turns out they were better seats and away from everyone so it was nice to be able to concentrate on just the movie. Lets get to the review and as you know i will be giving away a few spoilers but nothing that gives the whole story away. NO WORRIES GEEZ!!!

So it starts out with a bit of a back story. I like this because it doesn't just jump in without giving any details as to what is going on so you kinda get a feel for the movie before the movie really gets started. It is also shot like a found footage story. I love how his whole movie is shot because it shows behind the scenes footage and during the filming as well so you get a pretty cool look into the show. It made me feel like i was there live with him sometimes and i fully felt submerged in the story honestly.  The never before seen footage is told to be a " never aired episode / Never before seen footage " . This is where they talk about what was big back then which was the occult and satanic rituals and things of the sort. It tells how Jack may have been involved with a secret society of rich people who gathered in the woods and did mysterious rituals. It also shows other things going on in the world like a satanic cult who bred children just to be sacrificed and all that. Also showed the wars, protests, serial Killers like Charles Manson and other Cults. Cut to....

It pans to Jack DelRoy (  David Dastmalchian ) a very charismatic handsome ( i think he is handsome) talk show host who seems to be such a nice guy. He is the late night host for a show called Night Owls and it at the time, since it is set back in 1977 era, his biggest competition is obviously Johnny Carson and it references this a lot. He of course he is accompanied by his co-host aka announcer Gus (( Rhys Auteri) who was a vey sweet and endearing person  personally i loved him so much. Anywhoooooo, his show seems pretty normal and he is doing pretty good. His rating get higher and higher and he almost gets up there to number one. they do everything and try everything but alas there is not much left that they can do.

A bit of a while goes forward and we are cut to his wife developing terminal lung cancer just out of the blue. They emphasize that she was not a smoker so some speculated towards the secret society he was in being responsible but we move forward. He does a show that featured his beautiful wife  ( mid you her name in the movie is Madeleine DelRoy (Georgina Haig) ... keep that in mind. It was a beautiful episode they aired but sadly shortly after that she had passed away and Jack disappears for a month. He comes back and when he does there is a bunch of bad ratings issue. In fear of losing his sponsorship he comes up with a plan to hopefully save his show on Halloween Night.

Cut to Halloween Night he decides this is a night for the paranormal. He invites a medium/ Psychic named Christou  ( Fayssal Bazzi ) , a Skeptic named Carmichael Haig who was once a " psychic/ illusionist " ( Ian Bliss ) , and a Para-Psychologist June ross-Mitchell ( Laura Gordon) who is a medium to a girl named Lilly D'Abo (Ingrid Torelli) a 13 year old girl who was rescued from a cult who sacrifices children to their demon Abraxas after they set fire to themselves and the house,  who is believed to be possessed by the Demon.

First on the Show is Christou who shows his skills being a traveling Psychic and connects with a mother and her daughter and gives them closure, awwwww,  and then before he is about to go sit down and his segment be done he gets a severe pain in his head and starts saying someone named Minnie is trying to contact someone. then he gets very sick looking and starts coughing randomly. They help him get him some water and then he goes and sits down, they then invite Carmichael on and he tries to debunk everything that Christou says and in a shocking turn it turns out that the person Minnie that Christou was talking about was probably Jack's deceased wife who he nicknamed Minnie along time ago. Of course Carmichael thinks its a staged act and starts to harass Christou and Jack and Christou gets up to leave and then starts coughing uncontrollably. He then starts throwing up violently what looks like black tar and gets rushed to the hospital.. Later we find out he has SPOILER ALERT has past away de to his lungs Hemorrhaging but Jack tells no one . Planning to after the show just not during i am assuming.

Next up time to bring out the guests of honor and as this time is passing Gus and the rest of the crew became very concerned with everything that is going on. Gus does not want the next segment to happen and for good reason. He brings out June and Lily. She was a sweet girl but it did seem creepy everytime she smiled. So they came out and of course Carmichael calls them fake and is told to shut up so they can speak. They speak about Junes book that she wrote about her and her conversations with the girl while under her care. Jack then says can we have a live demonstration to see June talk to Abraxas through Lily. June is very concerned but then gets talked into it by Lily who just wants everyone to know they are not lying.

This is where the shit starts to hit the fan. June tells everyone to be quiet and remain calm so Lily can focus. She then proceeds to contact the demon inside her. the demon comes through and Lilys face changes and she starts saying she knows Jack from " we met amongst the tall trees" (referring to the cult ) that June thinks he is Handsome and everything. She then says some more inappropriate things and June snaps her back to reality.  Carmichael then tries to debunk it and does a full hypnosis on Gus and the entire studio and crowd. He makes them think that it was getting hot int here and that Gus has worms coming out of his body and then he snaps him back to reality and he is completely fine and the whole building is in shock.

In order to prove his theory they played back the tape to see what actually happened during the hypnosis and turns out nothing actually happened he just made everyone think that. Which makes Lily say if tapes prove what's real and what's not then they should play back her segment and see what is actually going on. After June says no way Lily again convinces her they should ....so they do. As they are playing it back they are seeing that it was definitely real and Jack sees something in the frames that goes by really fast and as he asks them to play the tape back frame for frame he sees his dead wife standing right beside him. As this is happening the entire studio starts to freak out and the girl Lily starts to giggle and electricity goes through her body. She then turns into her possessed state and then electricity shoots from her arms and it seems to be charging her up. the entire place and crowd flees and gets out of there the only people remaining is Lily, Jack, Gus, Carmichael, and June. She kills everyone but Jack and the producer pulls Jack back into the back stage area and the door shuts then opens back up as if he was walking right back into the show. Memories in a sort of montage or collage of sorts plays before ending him up knelt down before the occultist drinking from a chalice.

A door opens in the back and there lays his wife on her death bed. He cries and goes to her. He says it wasn't suppose to be this way and that he loved her so much. She then says that "They told you you could have it all didn't they?" " Be number one. Well you finally made it Darling, but you had to pay a price". She then asks him to kill her she is in so much pain. So he takes the sacrificial knife and stabs her in the stomach. Then it quickly cuts to reality and he is standing on the stage with the knife in Lilys body killing her. He then stands up in shock and it shows everyone dead around him. He then continues to ask himself if what was happening real or fake , is he there or is he asleep or something.

BOOM movie explained now here are my thoughts on it.

I loved this movie! It was very different the way it was shot and the way they made you kinda feel as if you were apart of the audience. I really enjoyed how relatable everyone was and how authentic they made it feel to the era in time they were focused on ( 1977).  I couldn't stop watching whether it was because it was funny, intense, thrilling, or just horrific. My favorite part of it all honestly was the ending though. It was so suspenseful and made you wonder what the hell just happened. It raised so many questions and honestly made me want to go back and see it again so that i could see if i had maybe missed something.

It had me thinking about it for a while after i left the theaters. It was definitely and occultist psychological horror flick and i am living for it. Everyone in the movie showed such great acting and made you go through so many emotions. then the end of it happened and everyone in the theater was questioning what the end meant and i love that. It reminded me of how i felt after i had watched American Psycho.

MY THEORY

I feel like at the end of it all Lily as the demon Abraxas was there to fulfill her contract with Jack that they had made in the woods with his cult he was in. He had asked to be number one and made a deal with a demon and this was the result. He became number one but it costed him everything and she was there to finish the deal. Well Abraxas used her to fulfill the deal and once the deal was fulfilled she tricked him into sacrificing Lily so he ( the demon) could be set free into the world do do more bidding. At the end Jack had killed Lily setting him free and he was definitely number one at the cost of everything he loved. I am not sure what had happened to Jack after you hear the sirens because it ends but my guess is if they had made it there before he killed himself , which it seemed like he might have wanted to, that he was probably take away and no one believed his story and he remains in a mental ward somewhere telling his story and no one believes him and just thinks he is crazy and snapped and killed a bunch of people. Gus , June, and Carmichael seemed to have died by the demons hands of course i think Jack only killed her but i do believe non of this is what Jack wanted. You could see it in his eyes. I felt bad and didn't feel bad for hi9m. I felt bad for him because he obviously doesn't understand that dealing with demons and devils that if they grant you something it comes at a price and it never goes the way you want it to,

As someone who studied and still studies Demonology and has a fascination for the paranormal and things of that nature, i feel like things to always remember is you may get what you want but evil is evil and it comes at a heavy price always. Even through the laws of any kinda magic what you send out you may get back 3 fold and when you do lets hope it wasn't anything bad.

Anyways that is my take on the ending and the movie in general. Lets rate it now

Creep factor 7/10 I felt this sense of creepiness in a different form through how lily would smile , talk, and act. It was chilling almost

Plot 8/10 a little predictable until the end and then it was definitely a whoa what just happened moment and again i am living for it. None the less i felt the story was well told and enjoyable.

Scary factor 5/10 to me it wasn't very scary but i feel like they really focused on the suspense of it all. I wasn't scared at all but it was super suspenseful and it made me unable to look away

Overall 9/10 I fell there were a few things they could have done to elevate the movie just a tad and make it a bit more scary but all in all omg i loved this movie and i would definitely recommend you watch it at least once.

Lisa Frankenstein Review

Hey everyone back with more thoughts on more things and things...so let's get started. First off I wanna say why fo you people not go to the movie theaters anymore. It's so fun and I enjoy it so much!!!. Anyhow, so I went to see it opening weekend and honestly I was not disappointed.

This movie was quirky, funny. And kinda super sweet. I mean I can't give anything away but good Ole Cole Sprouse was so murderous cute I wanted to cuddle him.

The movie started out with some normal ( ps set in the 80s which I am living for ) teenage girl problems. I was much like her dark and nerdy. I also like to hang out in abandoned cemeteries it is peaceful...well use to be.

Anyways, it takes us on a journey of a teenage girl finding her confidence from the other side. She found where she belonged and it gave her the confidence. P.s. loved every outfit she wore. Anyways, she goes to a party where her step sister wanted to go and she gets drunk trying to impress the boy she likes and then almost gets taken advantage by a boy she does not like. She escapes and then she ends up in the cemetery that she likes to hang out in and on this odd stormy night makes a wish that her and the Statue of a man "Frankenstein" could be together.

Lightening strikes and boom.....she goes home passes out and the next night we'll I can't tell you everything. Anyways obviously he comes to life and the story goes from there. It is a romance movie but it is a spooky romance comedy. The murder scenes were comical but also you kinda wanted to root for Franky boy and sometimes wanted to kick her teeth in for ignoring his feelings lol.

So I will say that the way they put him together and made his body come back to life is pretty funny and so fitting for the 80s. I actually loved the ending too it was so sweet.

So to sum it up honest review here.....

I loooooved it. It was funny 8/10 , romantic 7/10, spooky well not spooky but had funny ass horror elements ( and give a rating on it ) but overall the movie as a hole gets 8/10 for me . It's just a good time!!! Totally worth seeing!!

I have a video review coming up on it soon as well!!!

Five Nights at Freddy's Review

 Hey Everyone,

Welcome back to another review from the Pandamonium crew. This review is coming from yours truly Misty D. Panda. Anyways, lets not do all this small talk and instead how about we get to it!! So I went to see Five Nights at Freddy's Saturday the day after release in Theaters. I avoided all internet contact that night so i did not get any spoilers. Just a heads up in this review there is going to be slight spoilers but its a review so i guess its to be expected. So if you are like me and a nut for the Freddy franchise then you have probably seen that it has so many theories and fan fics about it that its hard to tell what is the true story and what isnt. All we ever get from Scott are hints here and there. Sometimes Scott is sweet and lets us in on a few things that give us certain points of who what when where and why. So we have established that Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy are those of the 4 children from the missing records in 1985 and of course lets not forget the Bite of 1983 where Evan ( williams youngest child from Fnaf 4  ) Gets his head bitten off by none other than Springlock Freddy aka golden Freddy ( Michael why did you do it... even you should have known the springlocks are going to close because of moisture ) also last but not least the bite of 87 with Jeremy Fitzgerald ( fnaf 2 security guard) got his head bite and his frontal lobe damaged so bad he did not recover ( bitten by toy Bonnie ). Then of course there is 30 years later with the Fazbear Frieghts that takes you through an haunted whats suppose to be an amusements park/ haunted attraction. These are facts we all know of.  We are going to leave out Fnaf sister location because it seems as if this has nothing to do with the movie at all which makes sense to me considering it is suppose to be aft.... wait i am getting ahead of myself and literally could talk about Fnaf forever.

Lets start at the beginning shall we. Ill make a new post for the complete lore that i know of personally if you wish to read about that more and with more detail but that is not what you came here for ... you came here for the review so lets get to it.

The setting is sometime in the 2000's after the Kids went missing in 1985. Starts out with Mike Schmidt and a new character they are bringing in Abby, Mike's kid sister. We come to hear that later his mother died and after that their father left and couldn't handle it. Never mention what happened to his father but i can tell you i already have a theory on that even though every time i think i have something nailed down Scott says HAHA NOPE but i love him anyways. Anyhoo, so we start out with Mike and his sister Abby basically about to be in a custody battle with their aunt. Their aunt of course thinks that Mike is not fit to take care of Abby and to be honest at first it does seem he is kinda of a rebel and cant keep a job but you can tell he loves his sister. However since he does love his sister he decides he needs to get a job and keep it. So he tried to go to a job counselor who goes by the name of Steve Raglan aka our boy ( Mathew Lillard) William Afton ( we all already knew Mathew was playing him so ...something is already up). Of course at this point lets call him phone guy. Steve tells him he screwed up so bad on all his other jobs that there is only one other option at this point. A security night shift at Freddy's Fazbear Pizza . He of course says no because well he has a kid sister and cant leave her alone at night but after sometime of thinking and their aunt being a complete ass he decides ok I need this job bad enough and finds a baby sitter who turns out to not be who she appears to be either. So he calls Steve aka phone guy aka William Afton and lets him know he will take the job. Steve says ok and walks him through his responsibilities and sends him on his way. A small hint to William as he reads Mikes last name notice the pause it is important. So he heads to Freddy's and that is where the fun begins. Mike has been taking meds for sleep since he has a very rough time sleeping due to him always dreaming about his kid brother who was taken away from his family when he was younger before little Abby was born. He dreams the same dream every single night trying to change the course of his past and save his brother or more so find out who took his brother. However this night at Freddy's he falls asleep but it isn't the exact same...there are 5 new kiddos in his dream and he asks them if they saw who took his brother. No one says anything but they then run away and Mike chases after them asking for help. Meanwhile things are starting to wake up inside and keep your eyes peeled because the things that go bump in the night start to watch him closely. Abby back at the house being babysat we learn she loved to draw...just so happens she has been drawing things that Mike dreams, things that are inside Freddy's but you will need to keep your eyes open for all those photos as well. She is connected to Fazbear's but why??? I guess you will have to watch it to find out. That night Vanessa who is not a security guard but is a cop in this movie shows up and meets Mike. She talks to him about the animatronics and shows him around. They become familiar with each other and then ...end of night one. Mike goes home more issues with the aunt but Mike doesn't know about what his babysitter and aunt are up to. Seems the babysitter is more than she appears and is suppose to et info on Mike they can use in court to get Aby but turns out Mike is actually a good brother and a decent caregiver so they have no other choice but to do as one of the other thugs hired mentioned to do and that is to get Mike fired...so they plan to go into to Fazbear's and trash the place which will for sure get Mike fired they think and the aunt would win custody.  Well they go up there and break in and.... that is where i will end this plot but now for my honest review.

I dont want to give the entire story away so i will stop the story there just got watch it. I do think it is worth the watch and the new take on the franchise i actually found to be pretty good and it made sense ( had i not already had the lore from the games thought out so perfectly but it still works in a weird way) Anyways, it does stray from the games plot and you do have to remember this is a movie adaptation it is not going to be the exact same as the games ( no movie ever is whether it is comics, books, games etc) and to keep an open mind. Also please remember they are just children and they want to do children things... so people keep bitching about how they are alot friendlier then they should be but honestly no they are not. They are exactly what you would think children inside of animatronic bodies would be. Still want to have fun but sadly brainwashed by William however Abby helps them remember who they were a bit and they enjoy her company. It leads you to believe that Abby has been talking to the children well before her brother got the job there. Also makes sense since she has always kinda been connected to that place as well as her brother but you will have to watch it to find out why.

Ok so now for the score

Plot 8/10 i loved the reimagining and the only thing i didn't like is Vanessas back story however i am trying to work that out in my head

Scary sadly 3/10 only because there were a few jump scares but nothing scary

Creepy factor  5/10 there were some creepy parts to it and i thought the way they did the eyes really sucked you into that creepiness

Theater vs streaming value 6/10 because it was streaming you get two sides of it. I think it is way better in theaters but not good enough i would spend more money to see it again in theaters. Watching it for the 2nd time and beyond is better streaming.

Overall 8/10  It was fun, a bit creepy, a bit scary, funny as hell at times and the story was actually pretty good if you separate it from the games.

game vs movie of course games are way better and i enjoy the lore in the games way more but the movie was good enough that i didn't mind the movies adaptation and cant wait to see the next one....looks like there is another going to happen possibly.

I do have a few easter eggs i found like the Springlock Abby sees and is taken too is Ella from the books Fazbear's Frieghts #3 1:35am. Read up on her and of course if you look in the dark in the top right corner by Chica you can see what looks like a pair of eyes...maybe its mangle or maybe its puppet not so sure let me know what you think, There are so many other little things here and there ill talk more about them in another blog.

Anyways i hope you enjoyed the read and please do watch the movie it is preetty good despite what all the people say. Remember those who are griping about it not being like the games are also the ones who thought all the marvel and dc movies were good...none of those were anything like the comics and in fact strayed so far from them it was almost hard to enjoy them unless you just never read any comic ever. I am a huge nerd and i lvoe my comics and games and movies but i also know you can not go in thinking it is going to be exact or sometimes even close...keep an open mind and heart and you may actually enjoy something.

THE NUN 2

OK so i went and saw it the opening weekend. I was super psyched about this one because i really enjoyed the first one. It had a creep factor to it that is rare for me to ever feel honestly. The way he looks , those teeth, the eyes and just that freakin smile ya know. I also loved the story and plot behind it all. Now i cant do a full spoiler review even though i could tell you the entire movie in about 3 minutes or less but ill try to elaborate things that wont give the entire movie plot away. I was actually disappointed. It was good but that's what it was ... good. I didn't get that creep factor i got with the first one. The jump scares were very predictable and it almost felt like they rushed the movie but also drug it out a bit to long. The story wasn't even as good as the first one. I was happy to see they girl from the first one ( Sister Irene ) and Maurice ( Frenchie ) that warmed my heart because i loved their characters. I felt like this one had a lot of not needed characters and moments. It felt like filler. The scenes that didn't feel like filler were pretty good but predictable. There was about 15 minutes in the entire movie that i actually was on the edge on my seat for. Pretty intense moments however overshadowed by the predictability. I am no movie expert but i am a fanatic to the horror genre and i have watched a lot of horror movies and thee are just my opinions on these movies and moments. Just needed to throw that in there. Anyways, like i said it was good but predictable. They added one element that i was like that's cool and so i wasn't satisfied but i was happy with the movie. The one moment that made it all worth it. That one scene that made me have goosebumps and do a happy dance was ....the after credits scene i cant even tell you about because that would be the biggest spoiler ever lol. Anyways lets get to the ratings shall we ?

Scary factor 1-10  I give it a 5

Creepy factor 1-10 I give it a 5

thriller/suspense 1-10  i give it a 6 because it did have intense moments

Plot/story  1-10 I give it a 7 and its because it leads up to that after credits scene that made me happy

I'll post a short bio/description of the movie here :::

1956 - France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.

Anyways i cant wait to do more reviews for you guys soon!! I hope you enjoyed the read and stay spooky my friends

Talk to me review

So i went and saw Talk to me by A24 and i must say it was alright. As an David horror movie freak and. Suspense and thriller type girl i was not horrified to say the least but i was enjoying the movie as a whole.

First the beginning scene is pretty sad if you ask me. A brother runs through a party to find his younger brother locked himself in a room speaking crazy and talking as if the spirits are guiding him to commit horrible acts. Big bro busts down the door to find little brother in there starts to walk off and then BAM. I wont spoil the rest but needless to say the beginning had promise.

Now lets talk about the plot and for a warning i wont say to many things to give to many spoilers but there may be a few. So be warned before you continue to read this. Anywho, so the plot was pretty basic, girl and dad live alone and mother passed away ( you will see how in the movie but it again is basic). Girl is sad about her mother passing. Girl and best friend are hanging out watching videos about this haunted hand that makes you see, connect, and let the dead in for a limited time. Of course their are some rules you must not be connected to the hand for more than 90 seconds or they will stay in your body. Pretty easy to understand. So girl and her friend are going to hang out with her best friend’s boyfriend ( who was the girls ex boyfriend dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun). The best friends little brother of course wants to tag along turns out he is very close to the girl like her little brother as well.  The mother of the best friend ,being fully aware that her daughter is about to go out and hang out with her boyfriend and her friend, tells her to be safe and provides as little comic relief as she lets her know no sex, no drugs, no drinking. The girl convinces the best friend to go to a party where they are going to be using the hand at to see what it is like.   The little brother who maybe is a few years younger than the girls tags along as well.

After they head to the party. Then you find out a lot of people think the girl is weird and you meet a new batch of kids who become a part of the story as well. They all gather around and the hand is placed on the table and they ask if anyone wants to do it. Since it is the day of the girls moms death she decided she would be the one to do it. So she does and she sits down and places her hand on it and immediately sees someone , obviously this someone is dead, she freaks out a bit but then she continues and says the words talk to me. then we all know what happens. The spirit enters the body things happen and then 90 seconds later they release her hand and blow the candle out so the spirit will leave and go back to the other world. She explains that it felt intoxicating and she enjoyed the feeling almost like a drug.

After that they go home and the little brother obviously a little freaked out because the spirit talked directly to him through he girl for a second ends up going to sleep with the girl on the pull out couch. They talk a bit and have a heart to heart and then fall asleep. Skip to the girl wants to do it again and this time they end up doing it at the girls best friend’s house. Her mom goes to work tells her no parties …as if am i right.. and again no getting her daughter pregnant and blah blah mom stuff ( same stuff i would be saying lol ) then she leaves for work. The new set of kids from the party come over and bring the hand. They all get out their phones and start recording as they all start using the hand. They are all having a good time and laughing ( however the best friend decides not to do it ) then all of the sudden the little brother and his friend ant to do it. The sister says no ( with good reason) however after some convincing the girl says ok but not for the full90 seconds. So he sits down and gets strapped in and he places his hand on the hand and says talk to me. The entity enters the body and he starts to speak…looking at the girl he speaks to her in what sounds like her mothers tone. She then starts talking to what she thinks is her mother and wont let them pull the boy away from the hand causing it to exceed the time limit and the boy ends up letting the entities in for too long because of th girl. He then proceeds to bash his head into the table until he is bloody everywhere he even tries to pull his own eye out. He is rushed to the hospital and then the sister and mom are pissed at the girl The best friend knows it was the girls fault and has every right to be mad at her of course.and this is where i am going to stop giving you details lol.

I will say from there the whole situation gets twisted and turned and the girls mind because twisted and she is being driven nuts. All in all it was a good movie. Was is scary not so much to me but it did have a few jump scares and some creep factor to it. I would definitely watch it again. I did enjoy it and the ending is also sad but good.

So scoring on creep factor 5/10

On scare factor. 4/10

Suspense  5//10

Overall plot 6/10

So i would say its pretty in the middle. Not scary kinda predictable but over all a good movie and would watch and recommend!!
