Horror Freak Pop up Market

Hey guys so i went to the Horror Freak pop up market. Let me tell you the store itself is fun as hell and i love it. The market was even better. This market had so many different oddities and curiosities!! I was so please with it and had a blast going. The vendors there were all so kind and everything was so unique. They even had bones for sell...MUHAHAHAHA!!! I got quite a bit of art and prints there, along with some keychains and a few bones to make into necklaces and freeze dried candy. It is located in a great area as well and there are shops surrounding it that are pretty retro and amazing as well. You can find food anywhere around there and the market is set up in the parking lot. Luckily they have these often and I can not wait to be able to go again.

Gas Station UPDATED REVIEW!!! TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE memorabilia shop

Hey there guys , gals, freaks, and pals!! So we went back to Bastrop,Tx for the Cult Classic Horror Convention and of course we had to stop by the Gas Station that is about 10 minutes away from there.

Small background on the gas station. It is owned by the owners of Cult Classic and is the original Gas Station in the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. They sell BBQ and Horror Memorabilia there. It has a replica of the van which broke down in the movie in the back great for photo ops and so cool to look at. They have a cool photo op area in the back with one of the sliding doors with hooks and a bucket of guts and of course blood everywhere. A bunch of picnic tables under a covered area so if it rains you should stay dry. there is a his and her bathroom attached to the side of it i am guessing for the people who stay in the cabins in the back ( also there are cabins you can stay in in the back which is pretty cool) and an outhouse that is available for anyone to use. ( It is clean no worries ) In the front they have a really cool metal bench sort of a memorial for those who were in the movies and have passed on as well as a really cool broken down truck that adds to the creepy chainsaw massacre vibe.

Lets talk about the food first I enjoy the food for sure. I hate BBQ sauce though and thankfully they dont drench it and they give you choices at the tables on BBQ sauces. I did try them to see if they are good and they are pretty good. There is a sweet one and a spicy one that i tried and both really good. Its your normal menu you would see for a BBQ I loved the sausage and brisket and potato salad. So yes i would recommend eating their when you stop by.

My favorite part is of course the memorabilia that they have for sale their. I go into more details on the videos i post on my tiktok and instas which you can find at linktr.ee/pandamoniumcontent .

I am releasing a full update with video on my youtube soon.

They have a little bit of everything from dolls, action figure, life size mannequins, mugs, postcards, to shirt and posters. Some really cool stuff to look at oh oh oh and masks I loved that. I would highly recommend going if your into all things horror.

Over all I love this place and plan on going back more but I will say this the guy who was working there on that sunday i went was amazing and had so much information to share and i loved hearing it. He even gave me an address to the camp crystal lake camp sites from the 2013 remake i believe to go check out . So look for that coming soon. Also he was just cool and super friendly!!

Anyways, Over all i would say yes yes yes it is a fun shop and good place to eat. If you are a horror fan please add this to your horror bucket list. It is small but full of kick ass stuff. !!

They have an instagram to check out  instagram.com/texasgasstation and a website www.texasgasstation.com please go check them out

Spooky season and spooky shops

 HEY EVERYONE!!!SPOOKY SEASON IS HERE!!!

We all know that spooky season starts September 1st for most people who like to trend with Halloween, in July for those who love Halloween, and lets be honest all day everyday for those who are obsessed with Halloween. It is a way of life am i right? So for spooky season i wanna go around and try new spooky shops but for now here is a list of shops dedicated to Halloween and or who sell A LOT of spooky stuff. You all know that there is Walmart ( not too shabby if you want decor but don't buy wigs there and if you are getting a costume for just the one night then Walmart is good. I guess that goes without saying for all the other super centers like target and things like that.  For decor again Michael's, hobby lobby, and Joann's has a lot of crafty decor ( A little expensive if you ask me), you can also always find stuff anytime of the year on amazon, ebay, temu, wish, and Shein. Now the most famous everyone talks about all the time is of course Spirit Halloween and we all know that it is amazing and in fact if you wanna see mine local near the North East Mall in Hurst, Tx  i'll post my lastest youtube video link at the bottom. Anyhoo, so we know about Spirit but lets talk about Spirit... sadly i will say that the prices seem to go up every year and i know why , the economy sucks monkey ass, but also because people will pay for it for the name brand stamp ya know. However sometimes i am exactly one of those people. I actually enjoy shopping when i get to go there because the vibe in the store is always legit pretty spooky in the funnest way. I love all the animatronics and they seem to be getting a little better each year and more ....OHHHH JUMPSCARE!! I never go for the costumes though. Never and its because i can buy costumes on amazon to modify and lets be honest the ones i find on amazon and on other site ( plus i make my own ) are a bit better than the ones you buy at Spirit but lets go over that in a minute. I go there for the decor. I know that you can also buy that stuff online but why? First of all it is right there and you can take it home that second and obsess over it , there is so many more selections at Spirit than online and you get to see if it is ok before you buy and don't , hopefully, have to return it. Spirit never seems to disappoint me when it comes to decor , if the prices would go down a bit for the more broke starving artist  that would be great lol , there is always something new and new spins on good ol classics. I do wish they sold more actual classics but they are just trying to keep up with the times ya know lol. Also they have some really cool accessories and clothes there. Again super pricey but really cute and worth it if you wanna really get it. Now aside from Spirit there is a slight downgrade but none the less a nice season place called Party city that is selling costumes all year around ( just not that many in the non spooky seasons ) and they are about the same quality as you would find at spirit. they also sell animatronics and decor as well. There selection is a bit smaller since it is only half the store but you can find some really good items there as well. Then there is magic shops that sell costumes, special fx makeup, fangs, prosthetics and things of that sort like for example, Magic etc/ Fort Worth Costume off of Forest Park Blvd in Fort Worth, Tx. Places lie Dallas Costume Shoppe in Dallas , TX where they let you rent their costumes for whatever event you need it for they can probably find you something that you love there. All those aside i have found through many search and fnds that my favorite thing and the only way i am going to like a costume 100 percent is if i build it and what better way to build it then to go to you local thrift shop. For real i am not joking. I have been able to find so many things to rip arart and sew back together and modify ,dye, and make to fit and be to the accuracy level i want it to be. Also, sometimes you find whole costumes you dont even need to modify but instead maybe just accessorize. Now a days everything is basically done online. Online shops, etsy, tiktok shops, instagram shops, personal websites, and about a thousand more different site i could list but that it alot.

Here is a list of sites i have heard about alot through people i know and people i have seen reviewing their products.

Halloweencostumes.com  Halloweenexpress.com  purecostumes.com ( this one looks really cool) and then  fun.com

places for cosplay that everyone goes too that has good costume

ezcosplay.com rolecosplay.com     miccostumes.com  https://www.herostime.com/  ( that one is mostly for your spandex suits, morph suits and zentai suits )   https://www.simcosplay.com/  therpc.studio  (For all you spiderverse cosplayers )

Dont forget your local vendors, local shops, small businesses, Etsy stores, and starving artist/creators out there ( like myself) selling commissions and maybe used cosplays that were maybe once and things like that. I like to show a few on my Magazine forefront so people can go check them out !!

Anyways, i am done with my ranting and maybe i gave you guys a little insight on some shops. If you are not local to the dfw then all the local stores i looked up just search for local magic shops or costumes shops or Halloween shops and they should pop up. Make sure you read reviews and ratings before you decide to order from anywhere and before you get out and drive. I hope you all have the best Spooky season !!!!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gas Station

I went to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gas station in Bastrop Texas. They owners bought the Gas station and turned it into a pretty cool memorabilia shop and they kept up with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre BBQ inside the gas station. The BBQ portion is Calle We slaughter BBQ, which i found to be quite clever. You can see the pictures and the videos I took of it on my YouTube channel. I will link that below.  When you are passing by it is super nostalgic just seeing the silhouette of the gas station itself but then you see the outside of it and it is pretty neat and fitting. Although it is not set up exactly like the original it is still set up pretty cool. First you park in front where the gas pumps used to be. On the left side there is an old abandoned looking truck very reminiscent of the truck the Sawyers used. Old rusty red beat up truck all broken down, and behind it is a fenced off area that has the smoker and everything they use to cook the BBQ. Then to the right you see the actual store and at the very end of the store is a bunch that i thought was pretty cool. On the bench had the coolest plaques and decorations. It was a memorial for those who came before them aka those were on the movie and have passed away. Ill also post some photos of it as well. Ok ok lets go inside so i can talk about that as well. Inside was like throwing a kid in a candy store for me. There was wall to wall horror memorabilia and life sized slashers in there. Man if they could get a life size slasher of Bubba Sawyer that would be just the cherry on top. They had the old school coke machine along the wall and the old gas pumps were inside as well. However the rest of the memorabilia that you can purchase was wall to wall in there. It was legit glorious for a horror fan like myself. Man they had everything from old old school slasher flicks to new age horror. They also had their own merchandise so of course as you are leaving be sure to grab one of their awesome gas station shirts. Among the shirts there were so many different style and horror shirts to choose from. Inside glass cases and on every wall covered from top to bottom the horror was everywhere and i was living for it. Now the cool thing is at the cash register on the wall behind it there was a menu and from there you could order what you wanted to eat and drink. They had your traditional BBQ menu and drinks. Very simple and not badly priced. So once you order you can wait for it inside and take it to go or eat in your car or you can go eat around back. Of course i wanted to check out the whole thing so i went around back to the what looked like little park picnic benches under an awning and the awning was attached to a set of bathrooms for the guests who are staying in the cabins behind the food area. They also had an outhouse for those dining to use as well. We were lucky enough to o be greeted by 6 cute little black and orange cats who were super sweet but man did they stare lol. In the far right side in the back they had duel doors all bloody with a giant hook in front of them hanging from the ceiling and below the hood was a giant bucket of fake guts which screams TCM and looks like it came straight out of the film. I thought how cute we need a photo op and…that’s exactly what we did. So while we waited for our food we took a look to our left and behind the set of bathrooms they had a old beat up green van with flat tires and gutted from the inside out. Yes it was the van the kids ( i say kids but really they were young adults ) were driving right before they well you know the story. It was so cool also had a little friend who made their web home on the mirror an orb weaver spider i believe is what they are called. Super cool looking but back to the van lol. It was so crazy and totally hit my nostalgia button to the first time watching the movie and seeing this van drive. I love vans so i am partial to them. It was so cool to see and if you walk around to the very back you will see some cabins that you can rent and stay in for the night as well. I cant wait to be able to do that soon. Anyways, we went back to the seats and got our food and it was pretty tasty. I was pretty satisfied. Oh also they have a small stage set up where it looks like they may do something with it which would be pretty cool. Anyways, i enjoyed it there and can’t wait to go back and really get to see more of it and well buy more too .
